Case File #1: The mystery behind the mysterious mystery meat

The truck pulled to a stop near the metal door marked "Loading Only." The driver-side door opened and coal-black shoe hit the gravel. At the same time, the door opened slightly and a head peeked out towards the truck.

"Anton, is that you?" said the man at the door.

"Keep your voice down" replied the driver as he slowly walked towards the door.

"Do not worry, the school is closed till Monday"

Anton looked through the crack in the door, over the other man's head and saw a dimly lit kitchen.
"Is anyone with you Pete?"

"No, I sent the staff home earlier. Should I call someone for help?"

"No. We should be okay. Now put some gloves on and meet me behind the truck."

Peter Picklo closed the door as Anton moved back into the darkness towards the truck. He went to his coat sitting on one of the large metal tables that occupied the kitchen. He slipped it on and pulled his gloves out. He stepped out the door and headed around the truck.

"Are those expensive?" said Anton as Peter rounded the truck.

"Is what expensive?"

"The gloves."

"No not really, why?"

"Wouldn't want you to ruin them with these" said Anton, making a gesture towards truck back which was now open.

"Where did you get it?" asked Peter. He was begining to worry about this arrangement.

"Do not worry. They won't notice."

Anton and Peter moved crates from the back of the truck and into the kitchen one by one. It required both of them to lift each crate. When they were finished Peter picked up a crowbar off the table and approached one of the crates. He broke through the wooden casing and removed an extra cardboard layer to see the contents within.

"Will this do Peter" said Anton with a smile.

"I think this will work Anton. I think it will and I agree with you, they will never notice."
